DESCRIPTION:Meet J.H.! J.H. is a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley and currently serves as the Mitchell’s Place Junior Board Vice President. For the past 5 years\, J.H. has been dedicated to the Mitchell’s Place mission and has contributed through his various talents from entertainment to decorating MP for the holidays. I attended a junior board recruitment event at Back Forty Brewing Company on a whim in 2018. I decided to join after hearing about the Mitchell’s Place Mission and the amazing volunteer opportunities! What have you most enjoyed as a member of the Junior Board? What I’ve enjoyed most is really and truly making an impact in my community and getting to do so with some incredible people that have become friends over the years.  Why would you recommend someone to get involved with Mitchell’s Place Junior Board? I would 150% recommend joining the junior board for individuals with a good heart and the willingness to donate their time and talents. Joining the Mitchell’s Place Junior Board is a great way to meet new people and make a difference in countless lives in Birmingham and beyond.  In your experience\, what do you think Mitchell’s Place and Junior Board events such as Funky Fish Fry\, bring to the community? The events that our junior board participates in\, such as Funky Fish Fry\, A Night at the Oscars\, Dragon Boar Races\, and numerous benefit nights with partners like Chuy’s\, Panera Bread\, and TrimTab Brewing\, to name a few\, help raise awareness and financial support that is crucial to the current and future mission of Mitchell’s Place.  We are so thankful for J.H.’s commitment to Mitchell’s Place and ongoing dedication to our mission.
