Mitchell's Place is designed to help not only Mitchell, but also every child and family affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder across the state of Alabama . According to recent statistics one in every one hundred and sixty-six children will be affected by ASD. At Mitchell's Place it is our goal to never turn away a child that can benefit from our expertise. We can only do this with your support.

Resources are extremely valuable in making our programs a reality. Today, in making a donation of your time or money to Mitchell's Place, you will play a direct role in making a child's life better. The stories of the children and families we seek to serve are diverse but one thing is always in common – these are families that desperately need services. Until now the programming offered at Mitchell's Place has simply not been available in our area. It is only with your support that we can offer these programs and help each child reach their full potential.

Volunteers play an important role at Mitchell's Place.  When you volunteer, you not only help an individual with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD); but, you also gain the knowledge and perspective of what life is like for families touched by ASD.
