Becca Wood, M.S., OTR/L Becca Wood received a bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 1996 and taught physical education in the Hoover School System for three years. In 2002, she earned a master’s degree in occupational therapy from The University of Alabama at Birmingham and subsequently received certification in Sensory Integration from The University of Southern California and Western Psychological Services. Becca has worked in a variety of pediatric environments, including outpatient settings, school systems, and home health. She has been with Mitchell’s Place since its opening in August 2005 as an occupational therapist serving children in the ELP and in the MRC. She now serves as the MRC Director and provides services for sensory and feeding issues in the ELP.
